June is also the last full month of the 2027 season. After 12 July, Drik Panchang has no marriage date until 10 November.

Two windows are very short. On 1 June it is 1 hour and 22 minutes at dawn, and on 5 June it is 35 minutes around noon. On the other side, 20 June and 27 June each run for a full 24 hours.

The 9 June row opens at 1:26 am, which is already Thursday on the clock. In the panchang, the hours before sunrise belong to the day before.

How Prokerala's June List Compares

Prokerala lists only 4 June windows, and all of them land on Drik Panchang days. So 10, 13, 16 and 21 June are on both lists. The end times differ in places, for example 10 June, so use one panchang's timings consistently and let your priest fix the lagna.

Why Some June Days Are Missing

Nirjala Ekadashi falls on 14 June 2027 and Jyeshtha Purnima on 18 June, as per Drik Panchang's festival list. Neither has a marriage muhurat this year. Ganga Dussehra, on Sunday 13 June, does.

The weekend of 19 and 20 June gives the most freedom. Saturday night 26 June runs straight into Sunday 27 June, which suits a reception and wedding on back-to-back days.

Are There Marriage Dates in Late June 2027?

Yes. The 26, 27 and 28 June are all muhurat days. After that, Drik Panchang lists 6 days in July (1, 7, 8, 9, 11 and 12 July), and then nothing until 10 November 2027.

The reason is Chaturmas. Devshayani Ekadashi falls on 14 July 2027, and Drik Panchang marks 13 July as partly inside Chaturmas. Venus (Shukra) is also set from 21 July to 9 September 2027. Our post on marriage in Chaturmas explains the four months that follow, and our post on inauspicious time for marriage lists every closed stretch of the year.

Is Ashadha Month Starting in June 2027?

It depends on your calendar. In the purnimanta calendar used across most of North India, Ashadha starts on Sunday, 20 June 2027, for New Delhi. The Purnima tithi lasts until 6:13 am on 19 June, which is after sunrise, so the panchang still counts 19 June as Jyeshtha. Drik Panchang and Prokerala both show Ashadha from 20 June.

Drik Panchang still lists marriage days in Ashadha, because its list checks the solar month, not the lunar one.

In the amanta calendar followed in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Gujarat, Ashadha starts only after the new moon in early July. Many Telugu and Kannada families avoid weddings in Ashada masam. For them, late June is the last stretch before that break.

Monsoon and Other Practical Points

The south-west monsoon normally reaches Kerala around the start of June and spreads north through the month. An open-air mandap in Mumbai, Goa or coastal Karnataka is a real risk in late June. In North India, the first half of June is usually still very hot.

So many families pick a covered hall and a night window. In June 2027, 11, 16, 19 and 26 June all have windows that run through the night.

Do Tamil, Telugu and Bengali Calendars Agree?

The list here follows Drik Panchang's solar-month rules. Regional panchangams publish their own lists, which can add or drop days.

For Tamil families, June 2027 covers the end of Vaikasi and the start of Aani, after the Sun moves into Mithunam on 15 June. Aadi, which many Tamil families avoid for weddings, starts after the Karka Sankranti on 17 July. Bengali families are in Jyoishtho and Asharh. Confirm with the priest who knows your family's panchangam.

Engagement and Roka Dates in June 2027

Neither Drik Panchang nor Prokerala publishes a separate engagement list. Families planning a November 2027 wedding sometimes hold the engagement in June, before the long Chaturmas gap, so that both sides have five months for the rest. Our engagement muhurat guide explains how families pick the day.

Booking Tips for June 2027

  1. If you want a weekend, book 19 June, 20 June or 27 June early. They are the longest weekend windows of the month.
  2. For a date on both panchang sites, choose from 10, 13, 16 and 21 June.
  3. Choose a covered venue in coastal and southern cities, because of the monsoon.
  4. If June is full, July has only 6 dates and they end on 12 July. After that the wait is four months.
  5. Ask the priest to fix the lagna inside your window soon after booking. Drik Panchang does not fix it.

Before any of this, the other family will want to read the biodata. If yours is not ready, choose a design and fill it in. Hello Biodata fills in rasi, nakshatra and lagna from the birth details and you download a PDF or a JPG.

For the whole year, see our vivah muhurat 2027 list. Our May 2027 list has the 18 dates just before, and our guide on how vivah muhurat is calculated explains each check.
