Using the Maker

Is the Biodata Maker Free?

Making, previewing and editing your biodata is free, and so is switching designs and colours and downloading it as a PDF and an image, along with an editable Word file. A free download prints a small credit line at the bottom of the page (in the Word file it is a small footer). Premium designs, and files without the credit line, are ₹29 per biodata, a one-time payment. You always see the price before you pay. Each verified mobile number gets one person's biodata free; a biodata for another person on the same number is ₹29.

The site is supported by RaniAstro, our astrology service. You will see a few of its horoscope offers on the site; buying one is never needed to make or download a biodata.

Do I Have to Sign Up or Create an Account?

Only with your mobile number. Before your first download, enter an Indian mobile number and the one-time code we send by SMS. There's no password and no account to manage, and later downloads on the same phone usually skip this step.

Can I Change My Biodata After Downloading It?

Yes. On the same phone, open the designs page, tap Continue, change what you need and download again. On a new phone, tap Sign In at the top and verify your number with an OTP.

Can I See the Finished Biodata Before I Download It?

Yes. The preview shows your own biodata in the design you picked, and you can switch designs and colours there before you download.

Can I Make a Biodata Without a Photo?

Yes. The photo is optional in every design, and the layout closes up neatly without it. Many families send photos separately.

Files, Printing and Sharing

Which File Should I Send, PDF or Image?

  • PDF for printing and email: A4, with margins a home printer won't cut.
  • JPG image for WhatsApp: one image of every page, sized to open clearly on any phone.
  • Word file to keep for yourself: it opens in Microsoft Word, so you can change a line later. Send the PDF to families and keep the Word file to edit.

Can I Get My Biodata as a Word File?

Yes, free with every PDF. After you download the PDF or image, the next screen shows Download Word File. It opens in Microsoft Word. Fonts and spacing can look a little different from the PDF, because Word lays out the text itself. A free Word file has a small footer line, "Made free at hellobiodata.com". With Biodata Plus (₹29) there is no footer.

What Paper Size Does It Print On?

A4, the standard in India. The PDF is made for A4 paper with safe margins, so a home printer or a print shop never cuts the border.

Will My Biodata Fit on One Page?

Most do. The maker fits it on one page when the text stays readable, and moves to two pages when it doesn't. It never drops a detail to make it fit. If a biodata runs past three pages, it asks you to hide a few details or shorten the longest paragraphs.

How Do I Send It on WhatsApp?

After the download, tap Share and pick WhatsApp: the phone sends the image (or PDF) directly. If your phone can't share files from the browser, the file is saved to Downloads and you can attach it in WhatsApp from there.

Horoscope, Religion and Language

Do I Have to Add Horoscope Details?

No. The horoscope section is optional. Leave it out, fill in only what you know, or let the maker work out the rasi, nakshatra and lagna from the date, time and place of birth.

How Does the Maker Calculate the Rasi and Nakshatra?

It uses the Lahiri ayanamsa and true planetary positions, the method most Indian panchangs follow. Every value it fills in stays editable, and manglik (chevvai) status is never filled in for you. Please confirm the horoscope with your family astrologer.

Which God Image or Symbol Should Go at the Top?

Whichever your family uses. Pick one from the list, for example Ganesha, Om, 786, Ik Onkar or a cross, with a blessing line to match, write your own line, or leave both off.

Which Languages Can the Biodata Be Printed In?

12 languages: English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Punjabi, Odia, Urdu. Section titles, labels and dates print in the language you choose. Every language except English is marked Beta until a native speaker has reviewed every word. If a label reads wrong, tell us and we will fix it.

Is There a Format for Buddhist, Parsi or Inter-Community Families?

Yes. Buddhist families get a dharma-wheel option and a simple design; Parsi, inter-community and non-religious families can use a modern design with no religious marks at all. Every religious field is optional.

Privacy and Safety

Do You Keep a Copy of My Biodata or Photo?

Yes. When you download, we save your biodata and photo with your mobile number, so you can edit it later from any phone. You can delete it any time. The Privacy Policy lists everything we keep and for how long.

Why Do You Ask for My Mobile Number?

To check the number with an OTP before the first download. It keeps your free biodata on your number and lets you open your biodata again on any phone. We may send updates and offers by SMS, WhatsApp or RCS; you can stop offers any time. Indian mobile numbers only for now; families abroad can use a relative's Indian number.

Are the People in Your Sample Biodatas Real?

No. Every sample uses a made-up person and made-up phone numbers, never a real person's details or picture.

The Download Doesn't Work Inside Instagram or Facebook. What Do I Do?

Apps like Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp open links in their own small browser, which often blocks downloads. Open the page in Chrome (or Safari on iPhone) and download from there. A biodata started inside the app stays saved in that app's browser.
