Marathi Biodata in Word Format

A Marathi biodata in Word format is a .docx file with your biodata in Devanagari that you can open and change in Microsoft Word. The easiest way to get one is to fill the biodata once in our maker in Marathi, download the PDF, and then tap "Download Word File" on the next screen. The Word file is free with every PDF.

Most families who search for a "Marathi biodata word file" want one thing: to change a line later, a new job or a new phone number, without starting from zero. A Word file does that.

Why a Word File and Not Only a PDF

A PDF looks the same on every phone and prints cleanly at any xerox shop. That is why you should send the PDF to the other family.

But a PDF is hard to edit. Six months later, when the boy changes jobs or the mama's number changes, the family wants to fix one row. With a Word file, an uncle with a laptop can open it, change the line and save it again.

So keep both. Send the PDF. Keep the Word file for changes. Our page on PDF or Word for a biodata explains the difference in detail.

How to Get a Free Marathi Word File

  1. Open the biodata maker, or make a Marathi biodata here from our Marathi page.
  2. Pick Male or Female, type the full name, and choose Marathi as the biodata language.
  3. Verify the mobile number with the OTP that comes by SMS.
  4. Fill the four sections: personal, patrika, family and contact.
  5. Tap Download PDF, or Download Image.
  6. On the next screen, "Your Biodata Is Ready", tap Download Word File.

The labels in the Word file are in Marathi, the same as on the PDF. Ras, nakshatra and list choices like diet or family type are in Marathi too. Text you typed yourself appears exactly as you typed it.

A free file carries a small "Made free at hellobiodata.com" line at the bottom, the same as the PDF. Biodata Plus, ₹29, removes it from the PDF, the image and the Word file.

What the Word File Looks Like

The Word file is a simpler copy of the same biodata, not a picture of the design. Word lays out text with its own fonts and spacing, so the file is built the way a neat Word document is built:

  • A border around the page in your design's colour.
  • The symbol, the blessing line (such as "Shri Ganeshay Namah") and the title, centred at the top.
  • The name in large letters and the photo at the top right.
  • Each section as a heading, followed by a table of labels and values.

Because it is made of normal headings and tables, you can click any value and type over it. You can also add a row to a table the normal Word way.

Our maker tries to fit the Word file on one A4 sheet when the biodata fits one page. If Word on your computer uses slightly different spacing, a line or two may spill onto a second page. Reducing the font size by one step usually fixes it.

How the Marathi Text Shows in Word

Marathi in Devanagari is "complex script" text to Word. Our file sets it in the Nirmala UI font, which comes with Windows 10 and Windows 11. On those computers the Marathi shows correctly without installing anything.

Word on an Android phone or an iPhone uses its own font for Devanagari. The words stay the same. The letters may look a little different.

If you see small boxes in place of Marathi letters, the computer is missing a Devanagari font. That happens mainly on very old Windows versions. Opening the file on a newer computer solves it.

Typing Marathi Inside the Word File

To change a Marathi value in Word you need a way to type Devanagari.

On Windows, add Marathi as a keyboard language in Settings, under Time and language. Then switch between English and Marathi with the Windows key and the space bar. On a phone, add Marathi to your keyboard, for example in Gboard's language settings.

Old Marathi typing fonts that some DTP shops still use do not mix well with this file. Type in normal Unicode Marathi, the kind you type on WhatsApp, and it will match the rest of the file.

Edit in Word, or Edit in the Maker?

For one small change, Word is fine.

For anything bigger, a new photo, a new section, a different design, it is quicker to sign in to our maker with the same mobile number, change the biodata there and download fresh files. The PDF, the image and the Word file then all match. If you edit only the Word file, remember that your PDF is now out of date.

Whichever you edit, save it as PDF before sending. In Word, use File, Save As, and choose PDF. Our English guide on making a biodata in MS Word covers building one from scratch in Word, if you prefer that.

Common questions

Is the Marathi Word File Really Free?

Yes. The Word file comes free with every PDF download. The free version has a small website line at the bottom, which Biodata Plus at ₹29 removes.

Can I Get Only the Word File Without the PDF?

The Download Word File button appears on the screen after you download the PDF or the image. Download one of those first.

Will the Photo Be in the Word File?

Yes, the same photo you added, at the top right. You can replace it in Word like any picture.

Can I Send the Word File on WhatsApp?

You can, but send the PDF instead. A Word file can look different on the other family's phone, and anyone can change it. A PDF stays exactly as you made it.

Does the Word File Have the Patrika?

Yes. Every row you see on the PDF, including ras, nakshatra, mangal and any rows you added like gan, nadi or devak, is in the Word file as a table row.
