ChatGPT and Gemini Prompts for a Marriage Biodata

ChatGPT and Gemini Prompts for a Marriage Biodata

ChatGPT or Gemini can write the About Me, partner expectations and family lines of a marriage biodata in a minute, if you give it real facts and ask for plain words. Use AI for the wording, never for the facts. Leave out the phone number and address. Read every line before it goes to the other family.

Each prompt below gives the AI the facts it needs and tells it what to avoid. Copy one, replace the words in square brackets, and paste it into ChatGPT or Gemini.

What AI Can and Cannot Do for a Biodata

AI is good at turning a few rough facts into three tidy sentences. Parents who find "About Me" the hardest part of the biodata get the most from it.

AI cannot know anything you do not tell it. Ask it for a biodata without details and it will invent things. Sometimes even a degree. It also cannot work out a rasi or nakshatra reliably. For those, use a horoscope from your family astrologer or a biodata maker that calculates them from the birth details.

The other risk is tone. Left alone, chatbots write like a brochure, full of words like "passionate" and "dynamic". Elders in the other family can spot that, and it makes the boy or girl sound like somebody else.

What Not to Paste into AI

Whatever you type into a chatbot is stored by the company that runs it, at least for a while. Google's Gemini Apps privacy hub asks users not to enter confidential information they would not want a reviewer to see, and says reviewed chats are kept for up to three years.

So keep these out of every prompt:

  • Mobile number, email and home address
  • Full name together with exact date and time of birth
  • Aadhaar, PAN or salary slip figures
  • Photos of other family members

You can use a first name, an age instead of a date, and a city instead of an address. The AI does not need more to write a good paragraph.

If you use ChatGPT, OpenAI's page on data controls in ChatGPT explains how to switch off "Improve the model for everyone", so your new chats are not used to train their models.

A Master Prompt for the Whole Biodata

Use this when you want a first draft of every text part at once. It works in both ChatGPT and Gemini.

"I am making a marriage biodata for my [son/daughter]. Write three short parts in simple Indian English that a 60-year-old parent can read easily. Part 1: About Me, 4 sentences, in [first person/third person]. Part 2: Partner expectations, 2 or 3 sentences, polite and not demanding. Part 3: About our family, 3 sentences. Use only these facts and do not add anything: Age [28]. Works as [software tester at a company in Pune]. Studied [B.Tech from Nagpur]. Likes [cricket on Sundays, cooking for the family]. Family: [father retired from MSEB, mother homemaker, one younger sister studying]. Native place [Wardha]. Looking for [a working girl, Marathi family, open to Pune]. Do not use the words passionate, dynamic, God-fearing, homely or fair."

The last line matters more than it looks. Without it, you will get "God-fearing and family-oriented" in almost every answer.

Prompts for About Me

For a girl:

"Write an About Me for my daughter's marriage biodata in 3 or 4 short sentences, in first person, plain English. Facts: she is 26, a primary school teacher in Coimbatore, did B.Sc and B.Ed, sings Carnatic music at home, close to her grandmother, wants to keep working after marriage. No flowery words."

For a boy:

"Write an About Me for a marriage biodata in third person, 4 sentences, simple words. Facts: he is 30, runs his father's hardware shop in Rajkot and is adding an online store, plays cricket on weekends, lives with parents and plans to stay in Rajkot. Make it sound like a parent wrote it, warm but not boastful."

Then ask for a shorter version: "Now make it 2 sentences for a WhatsApp message." Families often want both.

Prompts for Partner Expectations

"Write partner expectations for a boy's marriage biodata in 2 or 3 sentences. He wants a graduate girl from a Telugu family, working or willing to work, comfortable living in Hyderabad with his parents for the first few years. Keep the tone respectful. Do not mention looks, complexion or dowry."

"Rewrite these expectations so they sound open and not demanding: [paste your own lines]."

The second prompt is often more useful. Parents usually know what they want. They only need help saying it gently.

Prompts for Family Details and Hobbies

"Write 3 sentences about our family for a marriage biodata. Father: retired headmaster, Kumbakonam. Mother: homemaker. Elder brother: married, works in Dubai. We are a simple, religious family who visit our kuladeivam temple every year. Plain Indian English, no exaggeration."

"Turn these hobbies into one natural sentence for a biodata: reading Tamil novels, walking every morning, gardening on the terrace."

Prompts for Hindi, Marathi and Other Languages

ChatGPT and Gemini can write in Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu and other Indian languages. Ask in English and name the script.

"Write the same About Me in simple Hindi, in Devanagari script, the way a family in Lucknow would write it in a shadi ka biodata. Avoid very formal Sanskrit words."

"Translate this into Marathi for a lagnacha biodata. Use everyday words a family in Kolhapur would use."

Show the result to someone at home who reads the language well. AI translations of names and relationships go wrong more often than you would expect. A "mama" can become a "maternal uncle's relative" without anyone noticing.

Editing AI Output So It Sounds Like You

Read the answer aloud. Any line you would not say to a relative on the phone, change it.

A few quick fixes help a lot:

  • Replace general words with a fact. "Loves travelling" becomes "has been to Kedarnath twice with friends".
  • Delete anything the AI added that you did not tell it.
  • Cut the last sentence if it sounds like a greeting card.
  • Keep one or two of your own family phrases, even if the grammar is not perfect.

Families can tell when every biodata in the WhatsApp group has the same polished paragraph. A slightly plain line in your own words reads as honest.

Paste into the Maker and Download

Once the text is ready, copy it into the About Me box of your biodata. On Hello Biodata, About Me is in Personal Details under Add More Details, and it holds up to 700 characters, enough for four or five sentences.

Our maker has no AI writing button, so your words go in exactly as you paste them. Pick a design and fill in the rest, then check the preview before you download. The marriage biodata sample page shows how a finished About Me reads next to the other details.

Common questions

Can AI Make My Whole Marriage Biodata?

It can write the text parts, but it cannot design the page or calculate the horoscope correctly. Use AI for wording, and a free marriage biodata maker or Word for the layout.

Is It Safe to Put My Details into ChatGPT?

Share only what the paragraph needs, like age and job. Never paste the mobile number, the address or Aadhaar.

Will the Other Family Know It Was Written by AI?

Sometimes, yes, when the text is full of words like "passionate" and "dynamic". Edit it into plain words with real facts and it reads like any other biodata.

Can ChatGPT Write the Biodata in Hindi or Marathi?

Yes. Name the language and the script in your prompt, then ask someone at home to check names and relationship words.

Is ChatGPT or Gemini Better for This?

Either works for this. Try the same prompt in both and keep whichever answer sounds more like your family.
